| Prayer Ministry Team | Mission Statement:The Prayer Ministry at Monroe Christian Church seeks to be a connector, supporting the development of a prayer relationship with God for every man, women, young person and child. We believe that prayer declares our utter dependence on God and therefore seek to not be a church with a Prayer Ministry, but a praying church!Objectives:- Champion the call to prayer.- Become a church of prayer through belief that prayer is foundational in our life and ministry. By prayer, we praise God, seek His direction, request His resources and call upon the Holy Spirit to empower our ministries and the membership body. - Develop corporate prayer activities for the church body; such as concert of prayer, prayer walk, prayer during the service, prayer invitation during worship time and prayer vigils. - Initiate prayer seminars and studies so that Monroe Christian Church becomes a House of Prayer. We believe that local churches supply the resources that missionaries use to spread the Gospel around the world.Objectives:- Draw attention to effective missionary efforts around the world.- Provide financial assistance to approximately one dozen missionary organizations. - Provide MCC members with opportunities to interact with missionaries and their missions. - Promote a vision of world evangelism. |

| Education Ministry Team | Mission Statement:To help children and adults develop their relationship with Jesus Christ by strengthening their knowledge and understanding of the Bible, so we may share Christ with the world.Objectives:- Selection and coordination of curriculum- Calling and scheduling of teachers - Determining class schedules and room utilization |

| Worship Ministry Team | Worship is what humans do when they express to God how great He is. Worship can certainly be expressed through music and singing, but it is more than that: it can happen through testimony, prayer, drama, art, heart-felt and mind-engaged reading of Holy Scripture, and more. Our worship team is committed to giving voice to the gratitude and longing in our hearts to see our God lifted high: no one is like Him! |
